What to Expect

Welcome to Christian Fellowship. We invite you to come as you are and participate in one of our services. You’ll find people from every generation and from every walk of life. We have found Jesus to be more loving, compassionate and forgiving than we could have ever imagined. We believe you will experience the same as you pursue after God. Our hope is that you find a place where you can connect with others and pursue your spiritual journey in community.

Before the Service

Parking is available in the church lot, as well as on the street.

When you walk through the front doors, you will be personally greeted by a member of our hospitality team. They will offer you a church bulletin and a warm smile. Let them know you are a first time visitor and they will direct you to our Connection Center where the staff can answer your questions and offer you a small gift.

As you enter the main auditorium, you will immediately notice the casual atmosphere. People will probably be chatting and looking for seats. Our sanctuary is very simple. We keep the lights dimmed to minimize distractions and help people focus on worship.

Children’s Ministry

Yes! Please bring your children with you to church. We have a great program for kids from birth to 5th grade called cf Kidz that they will love. For more details, view our information for cf Kidz: First-Time Visitors.

Kids 6th grade and older stay with their family (or friends) for the entire service. During the week, there are junior and senior high youth group meetings for kids in this age range. For more information view our page for twelve30 Youth Group.

The Service

Worship

Most services begin with a time of music and singing. During this time we respond to a revelation of who God is and what He has done for us. This involves expressive and participatory worship to our living God from our hearts. Visit our Worship at CF page for more information and a sampling of some of the songs that we sing during our time of worship.

Offering

Each week there is opportunity for those who consider Christian Fellowship their home to worship God through the giving of tithes and offerings. To do so, offerings are brought forward and placed in baskets on the edge of the stage.

Announcements

Before the message, we have announcements to help inform everyone of upcoming events and important information.

Teaching from the Bible

After worship one of our pastors presents a Biblical teaching, usually lasting 30-40 minutes. We value Christ-centered teaching that motivates by grace, not by guilt. We agree with what the apostle Paul told Timothy, “There’s nothing like the written Word of God for showing you the way to salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. Every part of Scripture is God-breathed and useful one way or another—showing us truth, exposing our rebellion, correcting our mistakes, training us to live God’s way. Through the Word we are put together and shaped up for the tasks God has for us.” (II Timothy 3:16-17 The Message Bible)

Ministry

Many times a service will end by giving opportunity to respond to the message and to pray for people with specific needs. If you have a need that isn’t specifically mentioned, you can come to the front of the church at the end of the service and ask for prayer. Someone on our pastoral prayer team would be happy to pray for you.

After the Service

If you are new to Christian Fellowship, or want to know more about getting connected please visit the Connection Center in the North foyer after the service.
