Why serve?

We’ve found that one of the best ways to build relationships and strengthen your connection with church life is to serve along side one another. God has given each of us talents and skills for the purpose of blessing and building His church. When we each contribute our part, God helps us create an atmosphere that is welcoming, accepting, and worshipful. There are many opportunities to get involved. Scan over this list and if something catches your attention,  give it a try!

Worship Community

It takes many, many people to pull off our worship times each weekend. Not only do we need people who can sing and play instruments, we need people to run audio, lighting, video, and manage the stage. We’re looking for people committed and passionate about using their talents to touch the heart of God and lead the congregation into worship. Now Generation

There are many opportunities every week to serve the babies, kids, and teens of cf.

Cf kidz nurseries and classes meet twice every Sunday morning. In addition to teachers and classroom helpers, we are also looking for worship leaders, puppet team members, and administrative team volunteers. The youth ministry at cf goes by the name of twelve30 (and twelve30jr). These groups meet during the week and are always looking for teen mentors, small group leaders, worship leaders, event counselors, and graphic designers. Hospitality Teams

If you enjoy meeting and serving new people, the hospitality ministry could be for you! The usher team, greeter team, and connection center team serve on the front line while the coffee team and volunteer break room team serve behind the scenes.  To find out how to get involved, contact Debbie Koske at dkoske@christianfellowship.com.

Events

There are large variety of events that happen on a regular basis in the life of cf. Volunteer opportunities are always available to help at picnics, meals, parties, and funerals.
