Several families from the Congo and Burundi have recently relocated to Columbia, MO after spending many years in transitory refugee camps. These victims of war came to their new homes with the clothes on their backs and high hopes for their future.

They are sponsored by the US Immigration Service and the Catholic Diocese of Jefferson City for the first five months, but members of oiur church are stepping in to help fill some unmet needs.
