Residential home improvement projects
Connect with others as you do basic fix-up projects at Woodhaven homes – anything from small fixer-upper jobs to raking the yard. Join your friends or let us put you in a group. Groups will meet to be given materials and head out together to their assigned locations.

Childcare for “Living Large”
Love, INC is holding “Living Large” classes on Thursdays at Calvary Baptist Church, teaching people how to live on a limited fixed income. You can help women be able to attend these classes by helping with childcare while classes are going on.

Home Makeover Project 
Come alongside a single mom, her daughter and grandson to provide practical items such furniture, clothing, & household items, but even more importantly relationship and fellowship. Help with remodeling, decorating, engaging, or simply donating items that would bless this mother and her family.

Caroling with the Granny’s House kids 
Join Granny’s House Kids in caroling throughout their neighborhood! Enjoy the company of the kids as well as teaching them what it means to serve and give to others. You can join the kids one night or several nights of caroling!

Where: Meet at Granny’s House
Who: 2-3 Adults who can accompany the children as they carol

Gifts to Granny’s House
Come and bless the kids of Granny’s House. Bring a gift for the kids and new families in the neighborhood. Meet at the church and go to Granny’s House together to give your gifts and spend some time with the kids.  When you sign up, you will be sent a list of gift ideas.

Spread the joy of the holidays by hosting one or more international students, or a family from Africa, for Thanksgiving and/or Christmas meal. They could join your family, or you could join others in hosting a meal near to the holiday. When you sign up, we will connect you with our international friends.

Adopt an International Friend
Involve someone or a family who has never experienced Christmas in at least one family tradition outside of the holiday meal. This may be  going to see Christmas lights, decorating the tree, or learning to make pumpkin pie.
