We’re having a Souper Fundraiser! 

Here’s the plan:

• If you like to cook, you can enter a crock pot full of your favorite soup into the Souper contest. You might just win a coveted “Golden Soup Ladle” trophy!
• Everyone is invited to stay after church on Sunday and sample any soup entry for just $1 per cup. Try a cup of the winning soups for only $5 per cup. Complimentary drinks and bread will be provided. Our Kingdoms Kids will also be organizing a Bake Sale with all profits going to the Food Bank.
• Each dollar raised allows the Central Missouri Food Bank to give away 20 pounds of food. Our goal is to generate $600 at our Souper Bowl of Caring fundraiser. That will help the Central Missouri Food Bank purchase TWELVE TONS of food for hungry people in our area!
• There are five soup categories: Chowders, Broth-Based Chicken, Broth-Based Beef, Broth-Based Vegetable, and Chili/Bean.
• Entries will be judged on originality, presentation, taste, and texture..
• Soups and a printed copy of the recipe must be delivered “ready to serve” in a covered crock pot to the church kitchen no later than 11:00 a.m. on Sunday,   Feb 7.
