To receive God’s love freely and to give God’s love graciously.

Vision

To be a people devoted to the Apostle’s teachings, to fellowship, to breaking bread, and to prayer, calling all to salvation through Jesus Christ.


Values
  1. We value THE WHOLEHEARTED PURSUIT OF GOD - being hungry to know God's presence, hear His voice, and follow Him completely.
  2. We value CHRIST-CENTERED TEACHING. The whole of scripture has one unified message - our human need and God's provision to meet that need through His Son Jesus Christ. We seek to motivate by grace, not by guilt or self-effort.
  3. We value THE EMPOWERING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT to guide and release us into the presence of God and to works of service.
  4. We value WORSHIP THAT IS AN EXPRESSION OF ENJOYING GOD. We value worship that is participatory, fervent, freeing, and expressive.
  5. We value SERVANT HOOD which is LOVE IN ACTION-looking for opportunity to serve and show hospitality not only within the church but in every sphere of society.
  6. We value RELATIONAL CHURCH LIFE-to relate as friends with open communication, cooperation, and commitment, believing and speaking the best about each other.
  7. We value INTEGRITY-to live honestly, sincerely, uprightly not only in the church but also at home, at work, and at play.
  8. We value THE INDIVIDUAL single or married, young or old, as having honor and worth in God's eyes and ours. We seek to nurture healthy relationships at every stage of life and in every segment of society.
  9. We value THE FAMILY as the basic unit of society and THE LOCAL CHURCH as the basic unit of Christianity. We recognize the responsibility of each natural and spiritual family to discern God's leading.
  10. We value EVERY MEMBER AS A MINISTER. Each member of the Church has a unique contribution of gifts and talents for the maturing, equipping, and building up of the Body of Christ.
  11. We value HONORING THE BODY OF CHRIST-that all who belong to Christ are one in His Body, the Church. We desire to promote unity by honoring other churches.
  12. We value a NATURALNESS IN MINISTRY. We wish to do nothing for "religious effect" nor by manipulation, nor by forcefulness, but rather to operate in a natural and non-hype way. We desire also to walk in the power of the Spirit and to see supernatural works of God.
  13. We value the pursuit of FRIENDSHIPS WITH OTHER CHURCHES AND CHURCH LEADERS.
  14. We value BEING CULTURALLY CURRENT. We desire to develop an atmosphere of ease, and to speak, act, and dress in ways which enable our society to respond positively to the Gospel and to the church.
  15. We value BEING GENEROUS AND GIVING THE BEST OF WHO WE ARE-giving the best in our ministries, our talents, our facility and giving and sharing joyfully, generously, and unselfishly. God who gave us His best is worthy of our best. Excellence honors God.
